Ruth's Chris Steak House DestinRuth's Chris Steak House at Silver Shells Resort in Destin will host its 5th Annual Wine Walkabout to benefit Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation's cultural arts and arts education initiatives on Thursday, November 16th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the East Bar and Courtyard.

Chef Ruston Johnson has created a special menu featuring multiple culinary stations with heavy hors' douevres paired with select fine wines courtesy of a variety of distributors. Live music from Billboard charting and national recording artist, Michael J Thomas will perform along with soul stirring artists, Cheryl Jones and Company, also known as the "Who's Who" of entertainment on the Emerald Coast.

Wine enthusiasts can enter the MKAF Wine Pull and Charity Raffle to win fabulous wines and vacation packages around the country, purchase numbered corks to match your winning bottle of wine donated from private wine cellars, distributors and restaurants.

All proceeds will fund MKAF's dual mission of presenting cultural events and community outreach initiatives serving populations of children and families, including those with special needs and wounded warriors.


Since it formed in 1995, MKAF has empowered over 304,000 people in 70 schools and United Way agencies, and serving military and veteran warriors through carefully curated arts education programs throughout Okaloosa and Walton counties.

Hosted by Lynnemarie Dunn of Bonefish Grill, celebrity servers dressed in full costume as their favorite film star, super hero or musicians to compete for the best dressed and most earned tips and ticket sales. Dion Moniz (Harrison Sale McCloy/Emerald Coast Title Services) and Mindy Moniz (Premier Property Group) were named Top Celebrity Servers as Maverick & Charlie from "Top Gun" raising the most funds; Leslie Sullivan & Jacqui Luberto (Century 21/Blue Marlin Realty) were voted among the patrons and fellow servers for Best Costume as Thelma & Louise; Brian & Jessi Beauchamp (Beauchamp Commercial) dressed as Danny & Sandy from "Grease;" Lisa K and Chris Kellogg (Coast 93.3 Morning Show) appeared as Wonder Woman & Spiderman, Caroline Majure & Ron Todd (Deja' Vu Band) dressed as Sonny & Cher; Tracy Wood (NextHome Cornerstone Realty) and Alan Wood (CCB Community Bank) came as Dorothy and Scarecrow from "The Wizard of Oz."
